A mountain climbing event was organized in the Wadi Al-Ghoul area in the Bethlehem Governorate, in coordination with Wadi Climbing, with the participation of 60 young men and women. The event aimed to promote the sport of climbing and highlight the importance of resilience in marginalized and threatened areas.
Many of the participants from the Laylac Foundation had previously received professional training from the West Climbing Bank team and Wadi Climbing, which helped enhance their skills in this sport. As a result, a number of experienced climbers emerged from the group and have expressed their readiness to offer basic training to new participants in the future.
This initiative is part of ongoing efforts to promote alternative sports activities that connect youth with nature and strengthen their presence in their local communities.
