The theater department in Laylac was established by a group of volunteers. Some of them had previous background about the theater and how to work in it. Those who received training in theaters around like “Al – Harah” theater, “Enad” theater, “Eshtar” theater and “Ro’ad” theater. Another group received training from Italian professionals.
The theater department is formed from youth and children who are younger than 18, and upon that there have been work on very theatrical performances like “mal el sha’ab” play led by “eshtar” theater , and puppet play “kartona o falena” , food strike play and “antijony” play.
